The story is not over....

Writer's picture: Carrie WhiteheadCarrie Whitehead

Have you ever thought about the apostrophe and how it is the symbol that the story isn't over yet? I have.

I think that my story took a really big turn in November of 2015 and at that time, I didn't realize how strong I wasn't. I did not realize how long the days and nights would become. 1,705 days. 1,705 long days.

I think sometimes about how much I have changed. I recently broke out the phone I had at that time and looked at some of the texts I got and who they were from. It is amazing to me to see who isn't around at all since then and I realized, God used them only in a part of my story.

The story is not ever yet. This story is not over yet.

I think about the people that I hadn't talked to in a while that reached out to me. Maybe they don't reach out to me everyday or every week but, when they do we talk a while, or text because those are people that God wants to continue to be in my story.

These are the people that like it or not, keep my story from continuing. Of course they are included in my group of people, my life savers, my people.

The story is far from over; it just has a few different characters in it and the main character, she's a pretty awesome Angel.

Psalm 145:7 "They shall utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness."

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart;  the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.  Those who walk uprightly enter into peace, they find rest as they lie in death.

Isaiah 57:1-2
