It's beginning to look a lot like....

....Thanksgiving. Did you people forget about Thanksgiving?

We went straight from Halloween to Christmas.

Yes, I wrote a blog about people posting thankful posts all month but, skipping the holiday is just, well, terrible.

The radio is playing Christmas music. Hobby Lobby has had Christmas stuff up since July and Walmart was running a close race behind them.

But, there is a holiday in between, Thanksgiving.

Now, that does not mean that I want to say I love seeing all those thankful posts but, I just know that skipping the holiday is not COOL.

Thanksgiving, this Thursday I will eat turkey and all the dessert I can and be grateful for my family, my friends and my memories. I will then do like normal, decorate for Christmas after I celebrate thanksgiving. I will decorate at home, the cemetery and this place on Hwy 16 where my sweet girl took her last breath.

I am going to celebrate thanksgiving and not skip it. I am not going to join the thankful club and post that everyday mess only in November. I am going to do as normal and be thankful all 365 days of the year and you know what, I am going to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas.

Quit rushing the year away, tomorrow is never promised. Spend thanksgiving being thankful with your loved ones. Make the memories and take the pictures! Christmas will be here soon enough.
